Dr. Lipton is a chiropractor who offers full spinal adjusting, extremity adjusting, and cranial/TMJ adjusting, but also offers holistic healthcare through functional blood chemistries, saliva testing, and nutritional counseling.
Dr. Lipton is a September 1995 graduate of Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas. She opened her own practice in Belton, Texas in January of 1996. There, she ran a successful practice for 13 years. She sold her practice in January of 2009, and moved to Overland Park, KS with her husband and two children.
Dr. Lipton offers a wide array of techniques and services. She is Advanced Proficiency Rated in Activator Methods and proficient in many other techniques to include:
-Diversified and Diversified with Drops
-Extremity adjusting
-Blocking techniques
-Cranial and TMJ adjusting (intraoral and extraoral), muscle reflex testing, percussor and adjuster protocols, and low level laser treatments.
She offers extensive nutritional counseling, and incorporates functional blood chemistries and saliva testing as a means of effectively evaluating issues such as blood sugar regulation, energy and adrenal function, and hormone imbalances, to name a few. She also offers low level laser therapy, and detoxification footbaths. Dr. Lipton-VanDeSteeg is also a Brimhall Certified Practitioner.
Dr Lipton-VanDeSteeg DC, is one of 6 children, and the 2nd chiropractor in her family. Her father is a retired MD, and WW II veteran, and her mother is a retired nurse. She did her undergraduate work at Texas A&M University and the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor where she earned a BFA in Art. She attended Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas from 1992 to 1995, where she earned the title of Doctor of Chiropractic.
